From your 3D model, you can create 2D previews and distribute them on "pages" so you can add dimensions, annotations, dimensions, and other information to create a complete set of graphic documents for presentations and technical reports.

āœ”ļø With SketchUp LayOut you can create sheets that can have one or more views of one or more SketchUp files. Changes made to the original SketchUp models can be automatically updated in the pages created with LayOut, reducing printing errors from outdated documents.

āœ”ļø LayOut has tools to create stamps, text, dimensions, shadows, among other elements, which make technical documentation precise and sophisticated.

āœ”ļø The course offers a complete introduction to LayOut, teaching you all the basics you need to know to create a presentation of your 3D designs. Additionally, you will learn how to prepare your SketchUp model for LayOut. You will gain full control over the appearance of views in LayOut by properly organizing your SketchUp model and creating scenes.

āœ”ļøYou will also get the materials library, the CAD hatch styles library so you can apply traditional hatch patterns to your model, PNG images (without background) to use in your designs, and many more resources.
