Incoterms 2020 ICC

🟧 You will learn about the Incoterms 2020 standard of the International Chamber of Commerce, from the analysis of the general rules, explanatory notes and the clauses of the 11 positions.

🟧 You will understand each of the 11 positions, which implies for the seller and the buyer, the concepts of risks, delivery, documents and costs, that is, the obligations and responsibilities of each party.

🟧 You will analyze each of the 11 positions, differentiating between multimodal: EXW, FCA, CPT, CIP, DAP, DPU and DDP and maritime: FAS, FOB, CFR and CIF.

🟧 You will learn about the new features that have been introduced in this standard, such as the use of certain incoterms depending on whether the merchandise is going to be transported in a container or not.

🟧 You will learn to identify the obligations and risks of each of the parties, by analyzing each of the elements that must be controlled in each incoterm.

✔️ Incoterms are international standards proposed by the International Chamber of Commerce, which are used to establish standard definitions on how responsibilities, expenses and risk transmission will be distributed between the buyer and the seller of the merchandise.

These are commercial rules. They are not laws and are applicable to national and international trade. They are part of the sales contract, but they are not the contract itself, but rather they help to determine the obligations and responsibilities between the seller and the buyer.

This program deals with the official text of the International Chamber of Commerce, from its introductory notes, explanatory notes and the clauses of the 11 positions, maritime and multimodal, how each of them should be treated from the position of the seller and the buyer, taking into account the management and transmission of risk, delivery and the costs that each party must assume.

The program includes a video in the 11 positions that explains with an example these obligations of the parties, which makes it more effective and simple for the student to integrate the knowledge of each of these positions.

The programme consists of a total of 45 videos, each lasting between 2 and 10 minutes, supported by documents that provide access to the technical elements of Incoterms.
